Hello and welcome to RV7Builder.com. This site is the personal website of Jeff Zink and it's purpose is to fully document the build of my RV-7 airplane. The RV-7 is an experimental kit aircraft that is available from Vans Aircraft in Aurora Oregon.
Please feel free to look around. I have tried to design the site to be informative to as wide of an audience as possible as well as serving as my builders log, a requirement of the FAA in order to certify my plane as airworthy. So it doesn't matter if you are here follow my build, to use it to learn from my mistakes or if you are just interested in finding out what would posses a person to actually want to build their own airplane, I think you will find this site to your liking. I would suggest using the site navigation along the top and down the right hand side.
This site is not to be construed as the defacto process to build an airplane. It is anything but that. But it is the tools, techniques and methods I used during the construction of my aircraft. You have been warned. I make no claims or endorsements that anything on this site is the proper way to build an aircraft.
Please pardon my web dust as this site is currently under construction. Be aware that some of the links may not be working.I decided to build the site after the empennage was completed. Once I have all of the information and links are up to date and current, this paragraph will be removed.
